About Ted
I’m Ted Boyer, and this is my blog. I’m a senior in high school and I work at Mitchell’s Homemade Ice Cream. Because I love ice cream and serving customers, Mitchell’s is my favorite place to work. I live with my parents and cats as an only child, spend time with friends and ride my bike.
In 2011, I did something brave and came out. It was a unique, liberating experience. I’m comfortable sharing it on my blog because I feel that it is a small yet important part of who I am. The process brought me closer to my friends and family, and I am entirely grateful for them.
Rostam of Vampire Weekend
My favorite artist is Vampire Weekend. Experiencing the band live with friends at the House of Blues Cleveland in July 2012 was one of my greatest memories—it was my first show! Aside from listening to music, I have a passion for design and typography in particular. My plans for the future are to go to community college and major in art/graphic design, then transfer to the Rochester Institute of Technology. I want to achieve my dream of working as a designer in New York City or San Francisco.
This blog for my Journalism class will be on music, with music videos, album reviews, new music and more. My goal is to provide original content with my thoughts and opinions. If you’re looking to discover your next favorite song or album, you’re in for a treat.
