Matt and Kim - Hey Now

Can’t stop listening to this infectiously peppy just-released Matt and Kim track, Hey Now”. The opening New Glow cut is an indie dance anthem, and you can watch the video for the song above.

I love the energy that these two create with their music! In the video, the Brooklyn duo show off their dance moves on a morning in front of Brooklyn Bridge Park.

The song itself is all about love, and plays out in a fun and delightful manner. Atop optimistic horn stabs and a catchy drum rhythm, Matt sings: If you died, I’d die right by your side”.

Although Hey Now” sounds carefree and lighthearted on each listen, it’s also an essential reminder that even during tough times, we have to stick with the people who matter most in our lives. And maybe that’s not such a bad thing at all!

New Glow is out April 7
